When Hess purchased the Nebraska branch of Kansas City-based Output Technologies, Inc. in 1996, he immediately diversified its microfilm-based services to include    imaging technology which was becoming a dominant method of managing companies’ data. Datastor has installed over thirty in-house imaging systems ranging in size from a single PC to a twenty-five seat concurrent user system.

In 1999 Datastor added PC network service and support to its list of services.  John Brophy joined our team in 1999, bringing years of experience in network and web design.

In 2006 Datastor added to its list of  options by acquiring a Kodak Archive Writer. The Archive Writer allows Datastor to scan paper records, then convert them to archive quality microfilm. This offers the customer the security of microfilm along with the quick electronic retrieval that imaging provides.

Effective January 1, 2010, Hess sold Datastor to John Brophy. John now wears the hats of President, IT Manager, HR Manager, and Accounting Manager. Hess continues employment as  V.P. of Marketing.

As of July 1st, 2013, Brophy sold Datastor to Tom Lintel.  Tom is not only the president of Datastor, but also is president and owner of Superior Data Storage, a records storage and shredding services company located in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Today Datastor is a Nebraska leader in information technology services. Our many satisfied customers are testament to our outstanding service.
